Centenary Field, Llanfoist is owned and managed by Llanfoist Fawr Community Council and is situated off Church Lane, Llanfoist.
It can be accessed, by car, from Merthyr Road, Llanfoist by following the signs for the "Centenary Field" and by footpath from The Cutting, Llanfoist.
The recreation ground has a large level playing field, overflow parking facility, a large enclosed children's play area, a petanque pitch (allowing for 4 consecutive games) and a floodlit Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) that permits "all weather use" for football, netball, basketball, pickle ball and tennis. The MUGA and petanque pitch can be booked by teams, clubs, groups etc. or private individuals. For details of how to book the area please look at the section on the Llanfoist Multi Use Games Area. There is currently no charge for booking the petanque pitch.
It is also possible to book use of the junior football pitch at the Llanfoist Recreation Ground The current hire charge for the football pitch is £12 per hour.
A dedicated "dog walk area" is also available.
